Jimmy's 65th

A few days before dad's birthday, with Mabel and Kieran as a good excuse, we went to visit Father Christmas with plenty of Christmas spirit.......

The night of dad's birthday Mark, Emma, Mabel and Kieran came over to Hampton and we went for a lovely meal at a local steak restaurant - the Red Ox...

......then back to ours for chocolate mudcake on the roof terrace.....

I don't make cakes very often, so it's worth a photo!

Because we are normally on opposite sides of the world, it was a real treat to be able to celebrate dad's 65th with him!  Happy birthday Jimmy!!!
