In the run up to Christmas, we spent a lovely evening in the city. First stop, the busy Christmas night market, with live music and street food.
After the night market, we walked through the city to see the Christmas lights, and to visit the urban forest in City Square.
Last stop of the night was Federation Square for a glass of wine whilst watching the images projected onto St Paul's Cathedral.
And of course there's also the things you can do in Australia that you can't do in England at Christmas, like having lunch in the sun on St Kilda pier, going for a swim in the sea, and having dinner on the roof terrace watching the sun set!
