Tram-endous Christmas Eve!

As a belated 65th birthday present for mum and dad, Darren and I took them for dinner on the colonial tramcar restaurant on Christmas Eve.

It was such fun to be having dinner whilst travelling through the city, Albert Park and St Kilda in the middle of the road, with great food, staff and views.

There was an added surprise for mum and dad when they brought out dessert, complete with candle, with the staff and passengers singing Happy Birthday!

Dad probably won't be amused when he sees that I'm telling this story, but it tickled mum when dad missed his footing leaving the tram, and fell off the tram as I was taking this photo of the staff!!!

After dinner we walked along the South Bank to Crown to see the 'Christmas Spectacular' and Christmas carols.

To finish off the night, we went to Federation Square to see Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight.

With one more sleep til Christmas, the neighbours had certainly gone to town with decorations to welcome Santa!!!
